Article 25

Sharing the vast bounty of our beloved Earth is the only way out for the World.
The environmental crisis is directly linked to the inequality crisis: the poverty and famine that plagues so much of the globe. We must solve both at once.

There is a blueprint: Article 25 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in 1948:

Article 25

(1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
(2) Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.

It might not be perfect, but it's close enough. Article 25 was adopted and never acted upon. We must make it a reality now.

Only Article 25 can save us.
Only global demonstrations can make it happen.

We shall march in the billions.
We shall open our hearts.
We shall save the World.
